Nick joined Nolan Associates in 1994 as a senior engineer from Cameron Taylor Bedford where he was a project engineer for seven years. He became a director at Nolan Associates in 2008.
He studied at Birmingham polytechnic before achieving an Honours degree at Sheffield University.
He has been responsible for the design and supervision of an array of projects ranging in value up to £70 million and covering all sectors of the industry. Nick’s early career was in the refurbishment and design of buildings within the leisure sector.
More recently Nick has completed the first phase of the Paradise development in Birmingham city centre which was a hybrid precast concrete and steel framed structure. He also designed a new hangar at Norwich airport.
Nick is a keen road cyclist and completed the Lands’ End to John O’Groats ride in aid of the Prostate Cancer UK charity to which he has a close association. He also follows Detroit Lions American football team.
