Nolan Associates with GL Events have completed the design for the temporary grandstands and corporate facilities around the Albatros course at Le Golf National near Paris for the 2018 Ryder Cup.
The designs for the course were a massive undertaking. The temporary grandstand to the 1st tee and 18th green provided seating for over 6500 spectators. 9 others grandstands were sited around the greens across the course.
Edward Kitson, Europe’s Ryder Cup Match Director commented at the time. “We look forward to enhancing the spectator experience this year through innovative and integrated solutions. We’re thrilled to be working with GL events to help deliver a premium event in Paris this year.”
